Asmah Ahmad is currently a guest scholar at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (National University of Malaysia) where she retired from as a professor in 2009 and continues to coordinate the Masters of Social Science degree programme in Social and Environmental Impact Assessment.
She has been active in consultancy works pertaining to environmental and social impact assessment studies for the past two decades.
