Application Deadline: 10.01.16.

Your role

You will be responsible for implementing the Social Dimensions of Sustainable Green Growth Programme.

In this capacity, your key task is to provide first-class policy consultancy to MOLISA and other relevant sector ministries on the methodological and process-related aspects of SIA implementation and analysis.

You will advise the partner on developing requisite processes and guidelines and on elaborating a cross-sectoral capacity development plan for this thematic area. You will assist the partner in setting up and optimising national procedures and processes, in order to integrate SIA approaches into political decision-making.

Besides policy consultancy, you will be responsible for networking and creating the inter-ministerial cooperation and exchange platforms required for delivering this advice. Moreover, you will be in charge of national technical personnel.

Your profile

You have successfully completed a university-level degree in economics, law or social studies and have excellent knowledge of economic issues and the various aspects of socially responsible growth processes. You have the methodical skills and process-related knowledge required to implement and evaluate social impact assessments along with experience in designing consultancy processes that allow results to be fed into relevant sector policies. We expect you to have the requisite knowledge of legislative processes and procedures.

In addition to the expertise outlined above, you also have experience in organisational consultancy and development. You have highly developed management skills and very good communication and negotiation capabilities that enable you to interact with partners at various levels and to moderate complex and controversial negotiation processes. We further expect you to have analytical process and implementation-driven thinking patterns as well as an ability to swiftly identify and understand complex issues.

Your profile further extends to social competence, intercultural communication skills and a capacity for integration. You demonstrate a pronounced political sensitivity, are target oriented, work well under pressure and are reliable. You have business fluency in English and German. Regional experience in Viet Nam or in the wider area would be advantageous.
