A number of jurisdictions and companies have implemented ongoing social impact monitoring and management processes. The Centre for Social Responsibility in Mining have assisted companies and governments in this regard, including the Queensland Government who introduced Social Impact Management Plans for mining and petroleum projects in Queensland, Australia.
