This website is part of the Human Rights and Grievance Mechanisms programme of Stichting Onderzoek Multinationale Ondernemingen Centre for Research on Multinational Corporations (SOMO) and aims to inform workers, communities and their supporters about the possibilities to get remedy for victims of human rights abuses by companies with non-judicial grievance mechanisms.
The website explains in simple terms what grievance mechanisms are and how and when they could be useful. Additionally, a practical Step-By-Step Guide to file a complaint with a grievance mechanism, brochures about different mechanisms and other helpful resources are available for download.
