During this webinar for IPIECA members, Christiaan Luca of Community Wisdom Partners (formerly Global Manager of Sustainable Development at Shell) will share Shell’s journey of improving the way it is dealing with societal challenges.
Christiaan will outline how Shell realigned its internal organization to give balance to technical, commercial and external considerations in investment and operational decision-making. This journey needed intervention in various existing processes, but more importantly it required a change in the way people work together. He will focus on the three key challenges that were encountered, how these were overcome, and the results:
Improving cooperation between the various non-technical functions
Aligning these functions with capital project and operational decision making
Ensuring managers and decision-makers properly value and balance non-technical considerations with technical and commercial ones
Please note if you are unable to attend the webinar, but would like to receive the recording, register as usual and the link will be sent directly to your inbox.
