Professor Christiane Gagnon holds a PhD in Regional Planning. She teaches in Regional Development graduate programs and Geography at the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi. She is co-director of a multidisciplinary Research Center on territorial development and led a Social Impact Follow-up of an Industrial Megaproject.
Christiane’s current research domains are in the areas of Social Impact Assessment, community development and ecotourism and sustainable development politics. She has also worked in different countries of Central America, China, French Antilles and Madagascar.
